Both the CRC and the CEDAW Committees have a consistent practice to address the issue of Harmful Traditional Practices :
Le Comité des droits de l’enfant (CRC) et le Comité pour lutter contre les discriminations à l’encontre des femmes (CEDAW) soulèvent tous deux la question des pratiques traditionnelles préjudiciables dans leur pratique constante:
